See You at the Pole
"See
you at the Pole" is a national event held in September since 1990.
The event gathers Christian students for prayer, scripture reading,
and hymn singing at their school's flagpole before school to
celebrate the power of prayer in our lives. Cathedral senior
Andrew Carter organized the event
this year. Trey Hand, Jacob Hamilton, Rachel Benoit, Madison
Watts, and Mary Kathryn Carpenter led the hymns. About 2
million students across the United States and Canada participate in
this event annually. Approximately
60 High School and Jr. High students participated here at Cathedral
this year.
